A graduate of NYU’s Silver School of Social Work, Emily’s focus for the past 10 years has been on medical social work, eldercare, healthcare related technology and social determinants of health. She holds an MSW from New York University and is a Certified Care Manager. Her associated experience includes the entire continuum of care for older adults (acute inpatient, home health care, hospice and private care management) and expertise in Gerontology and Geriatric Care. Emily has previously worked as a Director of a private geriatric care management company. In a previous life, Emily worked in corporate training, management consulting and social philanthropy. In addition, she is a true social entrepreneur, holding 6 patents in social networking invented during her 7 years as a CEO and founder of a technology startup based in Silicon Valley.

When she is not working, she daydreams about living in a beautiful cottage overlooking the Mediterranean.
